Privacy Policy

JollofTV is a product of Chellrach Global Limited ("Chellrach", "we", "us", "our"). Chellrach Global Limited operates the JollofTV service and is the data controller for the personal data described here. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you use JollofTV, including our website and apps.

• Account data: Email address, password hash, sign-in provider (email, Google or Apple).
• Profile data: Profile names, avatars, language preferences, kids mode setting.
• Payment data: None. JollofTV is currently free, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases, so we collect no billing information. If a paid tier is introduced, this policy will be updated before it launches.
• Playback and service usage data: When you play supported video content, we record its identifier, channel, country code and time of play. If you are signed in, a play may be linked to your account to provide Continue Watching. We also use play records to maintain play counts. This tracking is separate from optional analytics.
• Account-linked and local data: My List and favourites are stored with your account to provide these features across your devices. Some preferences and activity may also be stored locally.
• Technical data: IP address, browser or app type, device type and, on the website, referrer URL. These may be collected through server logs for security and performance.
• Optional analytics and diagnostics: If you turn these on, our analytics provider and crash-reporting provider may process event data, app or browser details, crash diagnostics and masked web session replay. The two are separate choices — allowing one does not allow the other. Text inputs are masked and media is blocked in replay.
• Cookies and similar storage: Session cookies for authentication, preference storage for language and currency, and your consent choice. See our Cookie Policy.

• To create and manage your account and profiles

• To improve reliability and product quality through optional, consent-based analytics and crash diagnostics

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Authentication and database provider: Stores your account, profiles and saved lists.
• Hosting and CDN provider: Serves the website and apps. Server logs may be retained by them in line with their own data practices.
• Analytics provider: Optional product analytics, only if you allow Analytics.
• Crash-reporting provider: Optional crash reporting, performance diagnostics, and masked web session replay, only if you allow Diagnostics.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (for consent-based processing)

We retain account data while your account is active. When an account is deleted, account information and saved lists are removed, and playback history is removed from the account. The email address may be temporarily retained only to send a deletion confirmation; if delivery fails, it is erased after up to ten delivery attempts over approximately six days. Unlinked playback records may remain for service-level and aggregate play-count purposes. Information may also be retained where required by law. We do not state a fixed retention period for unlinked playback records in this policy.

We use essential storage for authentication and session management. Optional analytics and optional crash reporting/session replay are two separate choices, and each runs only if you allow it in the privacy banner.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

JollofTV is not directed at children under 13. Our Kids Mode is a content filter for family accounts — the account itself must be created by an adult. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice on the service.
