Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a JollofTV account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding contract between you and JollofTV.

2. The Service

JollofTV provides two tiers of service:

• Free Live TV: Curated African live TV channels streamed via publicly available HLS feeds. No account required.
• Premium VOD: On-demand Nollywood and African films. Requires a paid subscription. Available to registered account holders only.

We reserve the right to add, modify or remove content, features and channels at any time without notice.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You may create up to 5 profiles on one account. Each profile is for personal, non-commercial use.
• You must not share your account credentials with others outside your household.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly in the currency you select at checkout.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Download, record, reproduce or redistribute any content from JollofTV without authorisation.
• Use the service for any commercial purpose or on behalf of any third party.
• Circumvent any access controls, DRM or geographical restrictions.
• Use automated scripts, bots or scrapers to access the service.
• Upload, transmit or share any unlawful, harmful or offensive content.
• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on JollofTV — including films, channel streams, logos, designs and software — is owned by or licensed to JollofTV. Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to stream content for private viewing only. No ownership rights are transferred.

7. Live TV Streams

Live TV channels on JollofTV are sourced from publicly available HLS broadcast streams. We make no warranties as to the availability, quality or continuity of live streams. Streams may be interrupted or removed at any time due to broadcaster decisions beyond our control.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JollofTV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profits or loss of goodwill.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the service.
